Recently we sat down with one of our agents who has been with us for over two years now, Sarah Libera. She adds a lot of personality and color to our team, and we wanted everyone to get to know her a little better.
Where are you from? Where do you live now?
I am from Orange, California. I now live in beautiful downtown Sanford.
What do you like about your neighborhood?
I love that I always see people I know whenever I go out. The Sanford has a downtown feel, but is still a city with plenty to offer as far as jobs, school options for my kids and entertainment.
How long have you been in real estate?
Just over two years.
What are some of your real estate specialties?
Downtown Sanford for sure. I was looking at my Zillow profile and realized that 95% of my recent sales have all been with in a one mile radius of my house…..now, I am not saying that if you use me as your Realtor that I will force you to buy a house near me, but I think that some of my passion for this city rubs off on my customers.
What is your past work experience?
Most recently I have worked at the Willow Tree Cafe, in fact you can still find there one or two nights a week. They are like my family and the atmosphere is so fun, I have really been dragging my feet about leaving. Prior to that my husband Aaron and I worked with New Tribes Mission, which is what actually brought us to Sanford in the first place.
What are your hobbies?
Well, craft beer by default since my husband owns a homebrew supply store. I actually really enjoy gardening though I am not very good at it.
What do you like about Central Florida?
Honestly, it’s kind of like a more affordable and less pretentious version of Orange County California where I grew up.
Where are your favorite places to eat / hang out in Central Florida?
I really am not a huge fan of driving, we almost always end up somewhere in Downtown Sanford, we most enjoy trying any new place that opens up. In fact today we went to Jimotto’s for lunch, excellent presentation and very high quality food.
Why have you chosen to work with Sparrow Realty Group?
I like the family atmosphere, I like the personal interest that Brian and Ingrid have taken in not just me, but my family as well. Brian is extremely knowledgeable, approachable and encouraging no matter how trivial any of my questions or concerns are.
What are your top three professional values?
Another thing that goes with the above question is that my values and the Dodd’s values are in sync as far as conducting business honestly with integrity and valuing the needs of the customer above the transaction. I also value enjoying my job, real estate is fun, exciting, challenging. I want to work with people that I enjoy being around. One of my “hobbies” that I didn’t mention above is just hanging out with friends and laughing, and if I can do that while helping others find a home that they are going to build a life in well then you just can’t beat getting paid to do what you enjoy anyways.
